Combine PDF Pages Into a Single Document with PDFHammer

Let's face it, PDF editors are expensive. I found myself in a position recently where I had scanned a multi-page document a page at a time, but wanted to keep it together as a single file. Thank goodness I ran across a free browser-based tool that allows such a combination with a few mouse clicks. Just a warning for those of you with paranoid tendencies: since PDF Hammer is online, it does require you to upload your .pdf files to their site.

Start by visiting PDF Hammer by Nitro. Obviously Nitro will try to upsell you to their paid version, Nitro Pro on the right-hand side of the page. For what we're wanting to do, the free online version is fine. Click on the blue arrow to "Start PDF Hammer":

Next, upload the files you'd like to combine using the "uploads" box to the far right. As you upload each file individually, a preview will appear in the main window.

Once you've uploaded all of the files you'd like to combine, click on "Export Final PDF" at the bottom of the page.

PDF Hammer will show the screen above as it combines the pages into a single file, and then you will be prompted to save your new, combined file via a download dialog. Once you save the new document, you will have a brand spankin' new multi-page PDF in a single file.

From what I can tell, PDFHammer does one thing and it does it well, through a simple, well-designed interface.
